I am looking for an agent

Question/Comment:

Hello, I am looking for an agent and I really don't know which agents to contact. Can you please help me out? Tell me your experiences.

Answer:

Hello Cristian, finding an agent can be simple and complex all at the same time. Finding an agent that has your best interests at hand as well as being well connected is rare to find.

If you are searching for an agent your first must make sure that any and all agents you contact are FIFA Registered Agents. This is very important because many agents claim to be agents but are just looking to pull a fast one on you.

You will need to contact all agents with your CV (soccer resume) and highlight tape completed. These two things are the minimum requirement when contacting an agent as they will ask you for these things before anything else.

You can find a list of agents at Registered FIFA Agents List Page.

I recommend contacting agents in the region in which you wish to play as they have the most contacts in their country of residence (which is to be expected).

Not many will get back to you if you just shoot them an email saying you want a tryout, send them a professional email with CV and highlight tape attached to really get their attention and know you mean business.

If you get your trial having a training program that will get you training like a pro is a must. This 6 Week PRO Fitness Training Program is taken from the pro training grounds and will get your fitness up to the pro level.

Getting Noticed by An Agent

by Liam O'Farrell

Question:

Short question how old were you when you got noticed by a scout?

Answer:

I was formally noticed by a professional scout just before my 17th birthday. At that point I then made a difficult choice (although being the best decision I ever made) to attend University in the USA on a soccer scholarship and pursue a professional soccer career after that.

Some get noticed earlier, some later, it really depends on the situation the person and their family is in.

Hope this has helped.
