Soccer Training Skills Professional Clubs 20min Ball Workout!!




Soccer Training Skills 20 minute Professional Foot Skills Workout guaranteed to improve your footwork for soccer.

This technical footwork workout is taken from European Club ground and was done at my last club in Serbia by pro's twice a week on top of our training cycle. If you need to speed up your foot skills I would recommend doing it at least once a day.

What you need before your start the best Soccer Training Skills Workout you've ever attempted:

-One ball

-7-10 pylons (or shoes, rocks, branches or whatever you have)


0-1min

-Juggle the ball, keep it up in the air as a quick short warm-up. If it falls pick it up and continue to juggle until the 2 minutes is up.

1-5min

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Put the ball in between the inside of your feet and pass it back and forth quickly as you jog on the spot.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Touch the ball with the inside then outside of one foot while hopping on the other foot

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Switch Feet

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Toe Touches Still: Ball is still while touching the top of the ball with the balls of your feet. Alternating feet each touch in place.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Toe Touches Active: Moving the ball forward as you do toe touches

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Toe Touches Active: Moving the ball backwards with the balls of your feet while doing toe touches.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

5-7min

-Juggle the ball in the air for 5minutes continuously.

Get your cones or whatever you're using as cones and throw them randomly in about a 10 foot by 10 foot area about a yard away from each other or so. Yup anywhere randomly, trust me.

7-9min

While dribbling with the ball in and out of the cones randomly in this grid do the following foot skills, some are repeats of the above soccer training skills and are the core fundamentals of the game and is why it is important to constantly repeat them.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Keep the ball under you using the inside of your feet touching it back and forth between them.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Using one foot touch the ball inside then outside of that same foot while hopping on the other.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Switch feet

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Bottom of the foot toe touches going forward

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Bottom of your foot toe touches while going backward

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

-Only using the outside of your feet dribble the ball throughout the cone grid alternating feet every touch just using the outside of your left and right foot.

30 seconds on 10 seconds off

9-11min

Repeat the above soccer training skills inside the cone grid starting from the first skill.

You wanna get your feet to the next level its all about, REPETITION, REPETITION REPETITION!

11-13

Keep the ball up and Juggle again for 2 minutes. Ball should fall less times then the first time seeing how you are now more comfortable and warmed up.

13-18

-Line up 6 cones in a straight line about 1 yard between each cone.

-Can be done in a group or alone.

Again back to basics with fundamentals.

Each Drill to be performed 6 times, once you go through all the cones once, return to the beginning of the line and go again.

1st Drill x10

Touch the ball only with the inside of your feet. Two touches each foot while weaving in and out of the cones.

2nd Drill x10

Weaving in and out of the cones using just the outside of your feet. Two touches each foot to get by a cone then two touches of the other foot and so on.

3rd Drill x10

Weaving in and out of the cones using two touches per foot but this time first outside then inside and switch every cone. For example, push the ball with the outside of your right foot, then with the inside of your right foot in between the first two cones, then outside of your left then inside of your left across the 2nd and 3rd cone and so on.

18-20min

You guessed it! Juggle the ball in the air for 2min to end the workout. You may be a little fatigued and this is where your concentration plays a factor so try and keep the ball up for as long as possible of the 2 minutes.

This is the best soccer training skills workout you will find for improving your footwork and keeping it at a high level.

Note: If you're leading this workout and there are a number of you, in between drills or during you can yell out movements and assign numbers to them. Such as, "when I say 1 sit on the ball and get back up and continue." "When I say 2 stop your ball and switch balls with a partner." etc.
